Downtown Loan Pool

Low interest money available!

The Downtown Loan Pool is designed to spur investments in the Historic Downtown community.  Local banks have joined together to create a $2 million loan pool.  These loans are made at reduced rates of prime to half a point below prime.  Money may be used for:

·        Purchase of downtown buildings

·        Renovation projects

·        Business Equipment

Please contact the office of the Wilson Downtown Development Corporation and they will arrange for a Loan Pool Committee interview.

There is no loan application, just a loan interview.  Prior to the interview please provide the following information:

·        Two years business and personal income tax statements

·        Personal financial statement

·        Offer to purchase agreement

·        List of building renovation costs
